Manual QA / Second-Line Support

sellerboard is an analytics and automation platform for Amazon sellers. Our tools help sellers track profitability, manage inventory, automate emails, detect FBA errors, and optimize PPC campaigns. We serve over 20,000 sellers worldwide and are growing fast.

We’re looking for a Manual QA Specialist with a detective mindset — someone curious, driven, and eager to dig deep into tangled user cases to uncover the real issue. This role is not about scripted replies or repetitive tasks — it's about making sense of complexity, uncovering edge cases, and helping our users understand their numbers.

What You’ll Do

  • Understand complex user issues in depth — including cases where profitability numbers don’t seem to add up.
  • Communicate clearly with users to explain how sellerboard calculates key metrics or where a misunderstanding or bug might exist.
  • Accept and document feature requests and bug reports based on real user feedback.
  • Manually test new and existing features — not only to verify tasks, but to anticipate edge cases and help developers improve their logic.
  • Manage the bug lifecycle — from identifying and reproducing the problem, creating a clear ticket for developers, tracking progress, to verifying the fix and confirming with the user.
  • Coordinate closely with the development team to ensure that fixes and improvements are delivered efficiently and accurately.
  • Help improve our internal documentation by bringing real-world examples and user feedback into product knowledge.

Who You Are

  • A problem solver with a love for logic, numbers, and untangling complex scenarios.
  • You might come from a background in manual QA, accounting, finance, data analysis, or operations — as long as you’re curious and eager to learn.
  • You enjoy getting to the root cause of problems and helping people understand how things work.
  • You’re comfortable communicating with users, especially when it involves walking them through technical or financial explanations.
  • You have at least 1 year of experience in a structured, detail-oriented role.
  • You want to grow — whether into project management, product analysis, QA leadership, or something else in tech.
  • You’re proactive and self-motivated, especially in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Your English is intermediate or better, and you’re comfortable writing and reading in a work context.
