Intern Java developer

We are looking for a motivated Java Backend Intern to join our development team. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to grow professionally while gaining hands-on experience in building scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the design and development of backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external use.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Collaborate with senior developers and participate in code reviews.
  • Work with relational databases and perform basic CRUD operations.
  • Test, debug, and troubleshoot backend applications.
  • Learn and apply best practices in software engineering and agile development processes.
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and basic algorithms.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and JPA (academic or personal projects count).
  • Understanding of RESTful API principles and experience creating or consuming APIs.
  • Familiarity with tools like Postman or Swagger for API testing.
  • Basic knowledge of build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
  • Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience working with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
