QA Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Manual QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. As a Manual QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and documenting comprehensive test plans and test cases. Your attention to detail, strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, and ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development process will be essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design test plans and test cases accordingly.
Execute and document manual tests, ensuring comprehensive coverage of software functionality and adherence to test plans.
Identify and document software defects, working closely with the development team to address them.
Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure software stability.
Follow established software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes to maintain high-quality standards.
Provide timely and accurate feedback to stakeholders on the quality and reliability of the software.
Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, actively contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and provide input on potential risks and issues.
Assist in performance and/or security testing activities, leveraging your experience and knowledge (advantageous).
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Fluency in English, both written and verbal (minimum B1 level).
3+ years experience in software testing
Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Knowledge of Web testing, Rest API testing, UI/UX testing
Knowledge of testing types: Functional, Integration, Regression, Exploratory, User Acceptance
Hands-on experience with manual testing, including test case creation and execution
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes

Additional Skills:

Knowledge of Java, Selenium BDD, and Cucumber for test automation (although this position is primarily manual testing)
Experience with performance and/or security testing
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software
